As ARO stores are embracing the Halloween spirit with festive decorations throughout the store, the mini model Macey’s store at the Children’s Discovery Gateway Museum is no exception.
Visitors to the museum from now until Halloween will notice spooky decorations across various exhibits. They may also spot an empty space next to the Macey’s store model, which will soon feature another iconic part of the AFS brand: an AFS-branded semi-truck and trailer.
The model trailer exhibit, which is set to grand open in 2025, will include an open-back trailer that kids can climb into, as well as a cab where they can pretend to drive.

“Our trucks are one of the most recognizable symbols of AFS,” said Wayne Kinder, transportation manager. “People spot our trucks on the road every day. This exhibit is a fun way to bring that real-world connection into the museum, and I’m sure kids will love climbing into the cab and pretending to be behind the wheel.”
