Community Grocery Store Unveils Exciting New Features 

Pleasant Grove, UT (September 26, 2024) The Macey’s store on 931 W State St in Pleasant Grove, Utah recently completed a major remodel that will significantly enhance customers’ shopping experience. A re-grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration took place Wednesday, September 25.  

Macey’s has been a staple in the Pleasant Grove community since 2002. This remodel offers guests a fresh and modern “Happy Shopping” experience. There are many new features including a Starbucks, where guests can enjoy their favorite drink or treat. The indoor and outdoor seating areas have been updated to create comfortable and inviting spaces where people can relax and enjoy their favorite delicatessen treat.  

“We’re thrilled with our newly remodeled Macey’s Pleasant Grove,” said Greg Welling, vice president of retail operations for Macey’s. “Our goal with this remodel was to create a community gathering place including an even better shopping experience for our guests. Whether it’s grabbing a fresh loaf of bread from our BreadBot, enjoying a drink at Starbucks, or finding the best local produce, we’re excited for the community to come in and experience the changes we have made. We’re proud to continue being a part of Pleasant Grove and look forward to serving our guests for many more years.” 

The vibrant fresh produce section has an extensive selection of fruits and vegetables, including fresh, locally sourced options and a wide variety of organic products. The bakery section has been expanded to offer a broader selection of freshly baked artisan bread, pastries and gourmet cookies. Another new feature of the store is a BreadBot, an automated solution allowing guests to order a fresh, hot loaf of bread any time the store is open.   

The store also includes a comprehensive range of grocery items, including pantry staples, as well as an extended collection of local and specialty products, such as gluten-free, vegan, and other options.  

A drive-thru pharmacy was added to the front of the store for added convenience to guests. The pharmacy offers a variety of services to support guests’ health needs, including clinical services, birth control, strep testing and treatment, cold sore treatment, flu short and non-invasive women’s health solutions.
