The Associated Food Stores’ bakery team came ready to play as they strive to help store teams maximize February sales opportunities.
In preparation for Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day, Dan Hilgenberg and other bakery team members met with Elizabeth Barnett to create a plan for the bakery page on StoreLink. Bakery StoreLink champion Nichole Flatt, worked with the team to bring all the relevant bakery resources together on one page of the site.
“What the bakery team created is a tremendous example of how to make holiday and event preparation easier for retailers,” said Elizabeth. “It’s remarkable to see the effort and creativity they bring to their plans.”
To draw attention to the sales and merchandising resources, bakery team members created a fun, memorable and creative video based on a football theme. The video introduces key items and outlines how retailers can score big during the February festivities. The effort is already paying off as visits to the StoreLink bakery page were up over 300 percent in the last few weeks.
