Amber Woodfield has been promoted to ARO delicatessen sales manager. Amber was most recently serving as an ARO delicatessen operations specialist.
Amber’s career with Albertsons began in 1999, and over the years, she has demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership. In 2009, Amber became a store director and cherished her role and the relationships she built along the way.
“When the deli position became available, I saw it as an opportunity for a new adventure,” Amber said. “I’ve learned so much from the team, and my overall goal is to further unite the group and make all our delicatessens successful, regardless of volume or demographics.”
Amber is passionate about offering high-quality food to guests in a timely manner by carrying the right products and simplifying production processes. She emphasized the importance of making decisions as a group, based on facts, to overcome challenges.
“As an operation specialist, I spent many hours working in the deli, so I understand the obstacles they face,” Amber explained. “I want them to feel accomplished at the end of their shifts, and sometimes, getting back to basics is key.”
When asked about Amber, Todd Jensen, vice president of fresh foods, endorsed her promotion, highlighting her dedication and commitment to teamwork.

Amber expressed gratitude for her experience at Associated Food Stores, describing it as family-oriented and supportive.
“Working at Associated Food Stores has been a great experience for me,” Amber said. “I feel very supported and look forward to contributing to the success of our deli departments.”

When not at work, Amber enjoys spending time with family, including her two daughters and son.
