The grand opening of the new Clark’s store in Lowry, Colorado, took place on August 19 and 20. The much-anticipated event marked the first location of Clark’s Market in the Denver metro area.
Situated at 7059 E. Lowry Blvd., the store was eagerly awaited by locals due to its reputation as a conventional grocery store with a focus on natural, organic and gourmet products. The event on August 19 commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m., followed by giveaways, registration for Clark’s VIP rewards program, and complimentary sandwich samples from Boar’s Head, along with various samples from many other vendors.
Many team members from Associated Food Stores helped prepare the store for the grand-opening event. The celebration spanned two days, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Attendees had the chance to participate in exciting giveaways, including a $500 Clark’s Market gift card, with one winner on Saturday and another on Sunday. Additionally, the store sponsored two other register-to-win giveaways: a Traeger Smoker and $50 worth of USA Prime Pork, and a package from Echo Falls featuring smoked salmon, a fly-fishing rod, reel, and tackle kit.
Visitors were treated to free samples from various brands, spanning all the store’s departments on both days. On Saturday, August 19, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Jeremy Padgett of the Dom & Jeremy Morning Show on Mix 100.3 hosted a live remote, accompanied by prize giveaways every 15 minutes during the two-hour period.
Sunday, August 20, brought a free community BBQ from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring hot dogs, burgers, and sides, along with live music performed by the Delta Sonics.
An additional highlight was the opportunity to sign up for Clark’s VIP loyalty program. Participants had a chance to win Groceries for a Year, valued at $3,600 or $300 per month.
